Portishead 波提斯黑合唱團

Trip-Hop是一種揮灑著藝術性格的歐洲變種嘻哈，
它最大的特色就是夢囈般的歌詞，
懶洋洋的，卻又有如時空靜止般的歌曲結構，
1991年成軍，由Geoff Barrow、Beth Gibbons、Adrian Utley三人組成，
來自英國布里斯托的波提斯黑合唱團正是此一類型音樂潮流的佼佼者。

對Portishead來說，
音樂不單只是旋律的創作，
也是空間感的塑造，
他們透過交織著trip-hop、
電音、流行搖滾、
節奏藍調等類型音樂的樂曲，
呈現引人入勝的意境，
將音樂從聽覺的感受轉化成視覺的感受，
賦予音樂無限的想像色彩，
而且，樂迷還會不時的聽見一些來自於音樂深處的節奏悸動；
除此之外，他們也會突如其來的運用弦樂編曲，
還有管風琴、小號等樂器的音感，
跟電子樂器的顫音，
讓原本就具有黯然且神祕意味的樂曲變得更加的撲朔迷離。
